I walked from Point Holmes in Lazo, BC to my house in Comox, BC, just over 4km. It took me just approximately 51 minutes.

I rode my bike in Comox to do some errands like go to the bank and the pharmacy. I road a total of 8.6km and it took my 30 minutes to ride to and from the plaza. There is one really big hill by a farm. Since they sprayed the farm that night, I rode as fast as I could to get away from the stench.

Today is my birthday and my tutor (for Math 10 and English 10) picked me up and took me for a birthday kayak and picnic in Royston, BC. We spent over 2 hours kayaking in the ocean and also did some beach scavenging.

Today I went to a teen summer camp program where we did a number of activities throughout the day. One of them was swimming. I went to the pool and did some laps and participated in some games and other swimming activities with the group. We were there for an hour and a half.

I attended camp again and spent 2 hours in the pool playing. Then I got to go to a petting zoo and hold a baby quail.

Today was my last day at the community camp. We went to the pool for 2 hours and I was playing catch. Most of the time I was the target trapping the balls and then throwing them away from the net. My arms really hurt in the evening.

Before I left for work today I mapped out the distance it would take to ride my bike to and from my new job. Fortunately it is fairly close by and both potential routes were approximately the same distance. I chose the safer route with less traffic. It is a bit more of a maze to get there so I have to use lots of road signals. In total, I road just over 6.8km. The way there was faster because most was downhill. It took me 10 minutes riding really fast. On the way back it was up hill and it took me 15 minutes to get to work. Mum took a video of me riding down our road after work.

I took the dog for a trail run while I rode my bike. We have a few forests close by and the dog likes running the trails. I am working to improve my trail bike riding skills so I can navigate over logs, roots and rocks. I am still working on developing these skills. I went for 40 minutes. Our dog got tired. He is almost 8 years old.
